The clock ticks a few minutes past lunchtime, and Sundaemon can't help but feel eager to see her favorite clients again. The chosen table is already set for their arrival, and the calendar marks the first day of a new month. It's the day Mistressmon decides to take on the ice cream challenge: "Finish a special sundae in under an hour and receive free ice cream for the rest of the month." It's a plan that always ensures their return regardless of the outcome, although the truth is that the challenge is only available to one person. The challenge is nothing more than an excuse to prepare the most extravagant ice creams once a month, watch them eat, and push their limits each time.

"Do you know why I'm here, darling?"

Mistressmon's voice broke the ice cream seller's concentration. Lost in her thoughts, she hadn't noticed that her best clients, accompanied by her familiar Nico, had entered the shop.

"The usual for me, and whatever Nico wants," Mistressmon ordered, flashing her charismatic smile as always.

Sundaemon nodded politely and led them to their table, gesturing towards a large ice cream sundae next to a more modest-sized one. The first one was immense, a combo of multiple flavors accompanied by fruits and cookies, covered with a chocolate glaze and a cherry as a finishing touch. The second was a simple ice cream cup with a cream glaze and a couple of cookies.
As Mistress settled into her seat, Sundaemon handed her ice cream to Nico and positioned herself on the other side of the table, wishing her customers a pleasant meal.
Mistressmon calmly took her first spoonful, and after a bite, her expression turned to one of absolute delight.

"Goldie, when I met you, you were already an expert at making ice cream, but since then, you've improved tremendously. What inspires you?"

"I'm embarrassed to say..."
