So. Everyone knows today's the day BBC releases the final episode of the second season: The Reichenbach Fall. So this thing has been stuck in my head forever and what better day to post it than today? Even though the Holmes and Watson here are from what I imagined them to look like by the original book description.

Oh, and please excuse my god-awful attempt at the landscape in the first panel....-COUGH-...

Thanks, I thought classic Sherlock Holmes deserved some love and I wanted to try and depict them the way I envisioned.

hehehe. Did you just watch recently? And although I agree season 3 needs to come earlier, I think I would go absolutely insane if they postponed Star Trek or Doctor Who (being a HUGE fan of both). I am relying on both of those to last me until they can come out with Season 3. Also, absence makes the heart grow stronger and I have no doubt season 3 will be just as amazing as the last two. All my friends and I are awaiting it!

yeaaaah. it's all part of Moffat's master plan. He's even admitted that he likes to starve his victims audiences so that they'll appreciate the episodes more when they come out. Can't say it isn't quite effective. But I hate that he's doing it with both Sherlock and Doctor Who when I rely on one to give me sustenance until the other can come out.

I know... Moffat is the Cool Embodiment of Satan... Ugh... I just want the next seasons... Even a screen play!! I'd LOVE a screen play!! Leave it up to my imagination JUST GIVE ME A SCREEN PLAY.

Doctor Who is coming very soon and I am so overly excited. And for putting off Sherlock, the Star Trek movie better be just about the best movie I ever see (frankly I just wish they'd bring Star Trek TOS back with updated effects and everything).

yeah, but I miss the old relationship between Spock and Kirk and the whole Uhura thing is so random...it's just not very Star Trek-y you know? Although I have no doubt it'll be a great movie, I still want them to bring back a modern show with the TOS characters! And yeah, Starlocked it is!

eeheeeee Spocklocked, Starlocked, Shertrek? Idk, there needs to be a name for people who are into both fandoms kinda like "Wholock". And yeah, I loved the movie too, I just like the old ones better because I like the relationships between the characters more.

it's great if you don't mind the very low budget combined with the less-than-stellar technology of the sixties effect. otherwise, the morals and the character interaction is just great.

Oh God. I' m not a type crying at films or something...but the seriers of Sherlock Holmes was my first fanatic obsessioned books...I jest get crush on it. and...I cried reading that chapter. I cried watching the movie with Robert Downey Jr. And I cried at that moment in BBC series.

omgmetoo! Well Sherlock Holmes wasn't my first obsession, but I got into at first because my friend took me to see the RDJ film last December. I hadn't read the books yet so his "death" at Reichenbach came as a complete surprise, and since I'm one for tradgedies I fell head over heels for Sherlock Holmes and went and read the books and joined the Sherlockian fandom as well. I got into Doctor Who recently as well but I've crushed so hard on both series. Same goes for Loki and the Avengers.

I know right? It doesn't say in the original story but I always imagine him going down to look for Holmes and calling for his friend. And Holmes having to hold his tongue.

I have only one criticism for you: stop criticizing yourself. Your landscaping was great.

Poor Watson . That's so sad for him, believing that Sherlock is dead.

And poor Sherlock: no matter who or how you are or why or where you're going, it's gotta hurt to leave your best friend like that... (not to mention those cuts and bruises have got to be painful, too...)

Thanks so much! I criticize because I messed up the brush marks on the first panel and photoshop would no longer undo them.

And yeah, every adaption of this scene always makes me sad. I always imagine Sherlock standing somewhere, forcing himself not to go to his best friend because he must keep him safe.
