Seriously. Its like most children' level cartoons: good vs evil wouldn't mean sh*t if one side used practicality. martial arts and semi-mystical powers are cool and all, but if Jack made a bot with the projectile equivalence of a Baretta Barrett 50 cal, toss in a psuedo-complex targeting program, and those brats are ground beef at best. Good thing he's a crap villain.That and Jack had a harder life than wikipedia said he did, apparently. Huh.

Yeah, true. But instead of boredom I would say that is an inferiority complex, and fear of rejection and failure. He was always pushed away by people, so he wants to rule the world to get the affection he didn't get as a kid. Btw, do you think he could go from lonely rich kid to spoiled sweet?

Heβs stupidly smart, probably had played violent video games like any kid his apparent age, and the monks are most decidedly NOT dead yet- so Iβm not sure if thatβd be called a proper go at attempted murder or he knew theyβd make it out-

you know now that I look back at the show. for jack it was about the journey and the adventure of finding the woo. in all honesty now that I think about it he could have killed the monks at any time with a sniper at long range drone or hell nuked the temple with some cloak tech or missle. yet now when I look at jack now I see a guy who acts the part of the bad guy for fun of it, not for the actual gains from it. his home life from what I can tell is freaking boring from what I can tell as his parents are completely absent and he has a literal fortune at his finger tips he can access at anytime. you give this to any kid and they'll get board with most normal things and begin to act out and try to do dangerous things to find some form of excitement such as maybe world conquest...Β
at first when jack first started out he was all for conquering the world, but later on I think he just began to love the danger and adventure the hunt for the wuu gave him. hell that probably explains why when the gang grabbed an older version of him, he was still adventureing like he was some kind of scrooge mcduck without nephews of course. he just acts the part of the bad guy for the sheer fun of it.

If he played CoD (and he strikes me as one who did) he'd have plenty of material to absolutely murder the world with, let alone anything else. But wheres the fun in that?

True, at first it was a bit boring of a show. Although I could see Hal messing it up; what with the Catwoman nock-off, the immortal lizard dragon-man, and not to mention the insane Shen Gon Wu that you can make up. Also there was a literal living evil bean as a bad guy, and he was't a one off he was a main villain that turned the dragon guy into a dragon guy.

For Jack I think it was more about the journey to getting the Wu than actually trying to get them, because the search made his life FUN rather than what it normally was, also after Omi freezes himself you can tell he does cross the line with the prisons but it's made obvious he's suffering from some sort of illness because of the 'torture' he puts Wuya, Chase and Hanibal through. To Jack the Shen-Gong-Wu are a way to alleviate his boredom because it's obvious he could have gone the whole self-improvement villain routine to just flat out win against all of them considering what he has in the basement.
On the whole I agree with Archer00010, he's a younger Doctor Doom and, for me personally, him and Omi share the number one spot for my favourite character on that show.
