I remember when I saw this special for the first time, I thought, "Oh cool, it's the 'in my pants' guy." This was before my half-sister got obsessed with him and led me to have a crush on him (that voice of his is sexy, I'll give you that.) And the fact he's now the fucking president XD

Maybe if Phil LaMarr used a more comedic voice (like the voice he ended up using for BV in the series finale) instead of making BV's voice sound like heaven on a slice of toast, I'd take the episode with BV's girlfriend a little less seriously. But nooooo. Instead, I'm taking a cartoon seriously because of the voice the voice actor chose for a character. I mean, who would dump a guy with the sexiest voice ever? I'm afraid if I ever have an abusive boyfriend and his voice just so happens to be sexy, I'm never going to dump him because I find his voice sexy. But this is different. BV wasn't doing ANYTHING WRONG!
