Just for another random card, making more angels, since Magic still lacks the numbers to be able to make a good Angel tribal deck
Tried some fun useful abilities with this one, enjoy!

Wow. This is pretty awesome. But I feel, with it's Convoke ability, it should cost a bit more.

I agree. Β Convoke usually comes with the drawback that it costs about 50% more than normal. Β Otherwise, you're basically reducing the cost of an already too-aggressively costed card.

i did a angel tribal deck
and it work very well
i just put some artifact to increase mana aceleration

too powerful. most cards have a drawback, but this? hahha. talk about a cool boner. especially the convoke ability. now if you could increase the mana cost a bit to 7 would make it reasonable. if this card would exist though, it would be a mythic rare.

baneslayer angel actually kicks ass. for 5 mana (and if you're playing a straight white deck) you can get a 5/5 flyer with first strike and lifelink. it's already a good offense/sustainer card.

well yes but I mean, all in all its a very expensive card, I think the creator of the game himself once said he never expected one single card to cost more than 20 bucks ...and that bitch is above the 50 bucks already!! its a failure in my opinion, but oh well, its still a nice card if one has it, I only have one

lucky you. i quit playing magic years ago because of financial problems. mtg isn't just for poor ol' guys (especially jobless ones. yeah i know. "get a life" right? hehe.) i still look up into what's goin' on in the game, though. hehe.

Oh! I like that ability of her.
If magic build a card same ability of this angel (Effect: Destroy all attacking creature), It can combo with Planeswalker Gideon Jura that coming soon in Rise of the Eldrazi. It so cruel.
I hope magic build a card same that card.

HA! The only deck I play on a regular basis is angel themed and I do great with it!
Only 9 out of the 27 or so creatures in it aren't angels and the vast majority of the other cards in it have something to do with angels.
As for this card. Knowing what angels already exist in the game, yeah this is definitely overpowered. Angel of Salvation has the same kind of abilities except for destroying creatures it prevents 5 damage, and it still costs more than this. Other than the cost it looks good. Love the art choice.

Well I had this long reply all prepared and suddenly my computer caught a virus -.-
Since I'm too lazy to write it all up again I'll summarize in saying:
The Angel's strength lies in its ability to stand alone. It doesn't need others to be a threat. Improve them through global enchantments like Glorious Anthem or Noble Purpose, and if you have Sigil of the Empty Throne those enchantments will spawn you even more angels to play with.
Elves and Soldiers are weak alone, and strong in numbers. Angels are strong from the beginning because they have the strength of many already built into one.

It's obvious that we have a difference of opinions on this. But all I am saying is don't knock it until you've tried it. My angel deck works. So there's obviously something there. There's enough variance in angels to make it work and work well.

Well I have an angel deck myself thats why I said that, my solution was to make it an enchantment deck.. using the Sigil of the Empty Throne and Luminarch Ascension + some other good stuff that im too lazy to mention, and we get lots of angels

Also if you don't have it look into a Radiant, Archangel. +1/+1 for each other creature with flying in play

Ohhhhhhhhhhh That's why you can't make a good Angel deck. I don't play in tournaments, just with friends. So anything is fair game. I have some cards in it dating back to Urza, though the majority of cards in it have been reprinted since then.

but I have access to watch them all, and only a few display interesting skills, not to talk about some old angels like "pay 6 mana for a 3/3 flyring vigilance angel creature".

Awesomely. Just a tad OP, though. Try jacking up the CC. To 6 or 7. Creatures with convoke usually have insane CC.

Haha, I know the feeling. And yes, it's alot more realistic than other cards. Then again, there are few people that try to make playable cards. Most are just parodies and the like.

I would LOVE two of those in my white deck right now. I love punishing aggro players with arrows and straight destroy abilities. And with Convoke, I could play it for free. It's absolutely brilliant and the art kicks ass.
Where do you get the blank mockups for these, man? Or do you shop them from scratch?
