I cut the couches from a photo. Actually, the rug, the arch, and both tables were photos too.
The original images were gigantic, so making them clean wasn't that hard.

Err... I wouldn't go that far. It's just a bit of tricky cut & paste. Though, it did take me two days to do it.

You're thinking of doing an actual wall this way? That would be AWESOME! You should seriously consider asking an art gallery if they'd like one of their walls done. Hell, I bet a number of corporate businesses would love this type of art in their waiting rooms too.
