Wow, I love the painterly style that you have going! It's also really well drawn for a request, since I know requests are really a selfless gift that is so honorable for you to take the time to draw. I really like the motion that your brushstrokes create around the clothing, and I definitely think that's something to keep focusing on while creating your own and very original style. Great job!

lol honestly i was never too good with digital either, i normally just draw in my sketchbook due to not being able to use my tablet and today i decided to try because i saw that brush and idk it finally came to me!
i also use a custom pencil brush so i dont need to have such a clean line art and idk i really like it
just look up "sail brush tools" and usually a bunch pop up and so you just have to adjust some things and wa-la FANCY NEW BRUSH lol

That's awesome! I usually work with Photoshop, but I know there are lots of brushes out there too. I'm just sort of bad with a tablet, so I tend to be more graphic/cell shaded with my digital work. Like this one:

A bit! You can look up lots of tutorials though, and the tools are well named. I basically just place a layer and then use a brush, I don't play with filters too much. Except "camera raw" for editing traditional work.Β
