Description
“Orchid” was taken at the Botanical Gardens in the Orchid House. I really liked this image of this orchid for the orchid itself was very bright and full of life while at the same time at parts of it was starting to die off. The lines of this picture are very organic, there are great straight lines from the leaves in the background and then great curves on the actual orchids. For this image I duplicated the image and channel mixed the first layer then erased everything but the orchid in the second.
