Maybe keep playing with the editing--post some variations? I agree with Sophieham, it looks more like snow or frost than oil. But I like it, and I'm sure there's a great pic hiding in there.

I wasn't quite happy with this but the original also seemed to also be lacking.
anyways, I took your advice and played around with the original ([link] ) a bit- it seems to me that my technique was off and that I should focus more on improving that. I don't think I should be depending on touching up as much as I am now.
