This is my cousin, Yenni.Personally, the only part of this that I like is her expression. The light from the lamp didn't work out as I wanted it to- it just seems like there's an awkward white(it's actually blue) wall behind her.

You say the wall was blue? i can see a trace of blue in the corner, but am at a loss at how her skin tone turned out ok, but the wall turned white. Did you do some tweaking?

Yes I did do some tweaking with the contrast and brightness- the light blue faded off to white but I guess her skin color was dark enough to stay.

It's a good shot. Keep playing with the odd angles. The plain white background works very well.
