There seems to be a bit of grainy ness when "full-viewing" (could be you took it with a low resolution, or could be all the sun I got over the weekend, fuzzing my vision), but otherwise Very cool... can almost smell the wet leaves, after an early morning shower, just as the sun is starting to come up

Yeah about the garin, I hate it too. So tired of seeing it there. I take things and shoot them in higher res than 1200 etc etc.. So I dont know why else it has so much grain. 
But ty for faving it despite its flaws

Well, I think you can quite easily remove the grain in Photoshop. Since it is not major just try using one of the Blur Effect tools (I think Gausian Blur, with a very low setting). Blurring works when touching up and smoothing out peoples skin in portraits, could solve the grain issue.

what *I* like about this (yeah, gotta be different) are the stems...the black lines add so much to the piece, seeming to partition off different segments of the plant, where each segment is a completely different picture, like a spider would see it with its multi-faceted eyes (or rather, like we assume a spider would see it)

It did smell nice and moist, I shot this at a park near my job on my lunch break. It had just rained and there were droplets everywhere.
