I sketched this yesterday. Nothing more to say about it, really.. I drew a pose, added clothes and stuff, and ended up with drawing this girl, whoever she is.. Her hair is kind of similar to my own, simply because I didn't bother coming up with a creative hairstyle for her ..I at first wanted her to have a regular, metal shovel, as I imagined it would be her weapon of choice, picturing her as this sort of seemingly weak and "innocent" little girl who's actually a strong, "modern" Viking, with a personality that reflects the cold, high mountains in which she lives. She's like a personified, snowy mountain..! That was my original idea for her. I started visualizing a whole story for her while I sketched her. The metal/iron shovel would look like just an average tool for digging, yet useless for shoveling snow which would confuse people considering they all live in the same, cold environment. She would carry the heavy shovel with her pretty much everywhere because of the many different ways she could use it. The most useful thing about it being that it was a powerful weapon. It looks nothing like this snow shovel though, so I kind of regret giving her a snow shovel, which I did just to underline the whole snow-theme... But the shovel I originally imagined for her looks more like this one: ( 4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZGH8xx_KDWU… ) ..that kind of shape. Nowadays most of these are made of a lighter material, but back in the days they were really heavy! I imagine this girl actually sharpening the edges of it, making it quite deadly. The sheer weight of it in addition to her strength and clever use of momentum, could easily cut a man's head clean off if she knocked him to the ground first (which the shovel is also effective for doing.. Imagine Rapunzel with the frying pan.. ). I just love the idea of having her be someone who is perceived as weak and useless, like if she met some thugs on the road, they'd probably laugh at her for her useless shovel, and thinks they can do whatever they want to her because she's a short, weak little girl who won't be able to fight back, when she's actually this bad-ass little lady who's way stronger than she seems, and uses her height to her advantage in battles, and has amazing combat techniques with that heavy, "useless" shovel.. Someone who people better think twice about before trying to mess with her again.
Despite all this, she's not a mean brute who goes on random killing sprees or knocks out everyone who offends her.. She knows how to pick her fights and which to avoid. She fights solely for self defence or to defend others. She's a good person, but has to know how to fend for herself and her loved ones due to the brutal nature of her surroundings, in which nature is the least of her worries - it's the people in it that are the dangerous ones.

..hah, I thought I had nothing to say about this sketch, and then I ended up babbling about the whole story I'd vaguely imagined for her..
Aw well...

..Also, a little off-topic, but I wanted to let people know that I am not ignoring your comments and notes and stuff, it's just going to take a while for me to respond to them.. I might write a journal entry about that later to explain this a little better, but in brief I just need to take my time and respond to them when I feel ready to do so.. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this might cause, it's nothing personal and I am still very thankful for every note and comment, so please don't think otherwise
I've just had a lot going on the past months and I need a little more time to heal again, so replies might take a while, and not in any particular order either, and until then I'll primarily focus on posting artwork - which I understand might confuse or even upset people if they see that I post stuff but won't take the time to reply to their messages. I know it looks bad, and I'm sorry, but you are not forgotten, I will reply, it's just gonna take a while..

..I'll stop ranting now but I hope you guys understand
