I FINALLY got a commission done <:3 HOOORAH
...this is pretty strange... I can never imagine Fluttershy using a computer, but hey, this is what the commissioner wanted.
Also, strange error thing about this piece, I made Fluttershy use the mouse with her left hoof because as seen in the Christmas special, she bows with her left hoof! Lefties for the win! I am a southhoof myself ^_^
edit: aah yes almost forgot

I have not attempted animation, and I don't know if it's my thing ^_^;; My dad is an animator but I am not.
HOWEVER I could see me doing concept art, character design, or storyboarding if I were to get into animation.

In my experience, you can't judge a piece purely by technique. You've got to take into account the setting, elements used by the character, pose, expression...there are a lot of components that make art work.
In some ways, there are pictures I've seen that were badly drawn (from a technical perspective) that I liked better than those which were proficient, but lacked substance.
I don't draw, myself, but I know good art when I see it. My mate watches the show religiously, and I've been exposed to it as a matter of course. Your recreation of the artwork does not just mimic it; it accurately portrays it. There is a huge difference.
I think you can do more than you realize, and I hope to see more from you in the future.
