Process of creating this piece it was a great learning, and it gave for me a lot of reminders, like for example:I need to destroy in order to create
and what I'm drawing is not made out of flesh but of light!
Also it made me stronger in following and trusting my inner voice.
Even if there are authorities with the whole history of art behind them - you listen to them, and you learn what you can, but when you are going back to your creating - you should forget, and be true to yourself, finding your own spirit and voice.
I used here colored pencils and dry pastels

yes, that's a good thing to contemplate
how I see it from my perspective for example, when I am creating my work - each time while I am giving birth for the new, I am sacrificing the old parts of me that doesn't work for me anymore, that need transforming into something higher..then whole creative act is about the transformation of energy
I am destroying my ego, in order to create from my higher self and in divine guidance..

Its great when art lets you know more about the innerself.
I try to listen to my inner voice as well while drawing and it has tought me a lot about myself and the way i really think about things in life without the pressure from society.
Art is so much more then only making art... if you let it be.

I think that art is indeed one of the greatest tools to get to know ourselves, especially if we turn within and let go, and we are able to go beyond our egos, exploring the unknown..
and I totally agree that art it is even much more.. through my own experience I found that it is also a wonderful tool for healing, transformation of energy, transcendence and creation of reality
