So.....I haven't been on much on deviatart, mostly cause I've been super busy IRL, but now that I'm getting ready to graduate, I should have plenty of free time over the summer. Anywho, here is my newest Hero Academia OC. He's a pro hero and a teacher at UA highschool, though his class only meets once a week.

* Michael might be 100% Japanese, but his name still comes from America. This is because his mother was on a business trip in America when he was born, as he was about 3 weeks early. She and her husband thought it would be neat to give him and American name, and thus named him after the doctor who delivered him, who's name was Angelica Michaels.

Quirk Name

Komodo Dragon:
A heteromorphic quirk, Komodo dragon has both permanant physical changes and internal changes. Michael has the ability do do most anything a Komodo Dragon can do. This includes having super strength ande is capable of carrying up to 4000 lbs. If he has enough adrenaline, can lift up to 7500. He also has enhansed senses, particularly his sense of taste, due to his partially forked tongue. His scales also provide partial cover to his body and help strengthen his stance. Finally, all four of his canines are capable of secreting a neurovenom that rapidly weakens his opponents.

Advantages

It's easy for Michael to keep track of his opponents in a fight. He can quite literally see and smell their location and is always prepared for them to attack.

Due to his superstrength, he can serve as both a rescue and a combat hero. More often he is a combat hero, but when people get trapped under large peices of rubble, it is possible for him to lift it high enough for them to get out. It insures that he always has something to do in order to keep up his reputation.

Disadvantages

Michale is cold blooded, which means it is impossible for him to recieve a blood transfusion. His body would see warm blood as a threat and attack it, causing him to have a transfusion reaction and it could potentially kill him. If he looses severe amounts of blood, his only change is to stop the bleeding and hope that he can pull through.

Due to him being cold blooded, it is difficult to keep his core body temp at a consistant level. His suit is especially made to help insulate him when it's cold and to be breathable when it is hot. His home is also strictly adjusted to have a constant temperature so he can recover his body heat or loose some at night, depending on the day.

Every couple of days, he has to drain his venom into a toxic waste disposal unit if he doesn't use it. Otherwise, it starts seeping into his blood and makes him drowsy.

Asami Ito (Wife): Quirk - Self Levitation
Asami works at a hospital for children with extreme diseases. She serves as a nurse and as a friend to kids who spend most of their lives confined within a hospital room. She met Michael when he rescued her from a peice of a falling building 8 years ago, and they have been married for 7 of those eight years. She loves him because his is sweet, a bit of a dork around her, and just likes to be himself. He loves her because she lets him be himself and because she still thinks he's handsome despite all of the scales that litter his body.

Personality
Micheal is a very light hearted and aloof guy. He's very calm and collected about everything, preferring to stay neutral rather than stress and freak out. He loves to crack a smile every now and then, but knows good and well when it is appropriate and when it is not. As a hero, he makes sure to display his calm demenor so that people understand that it is possible to be calm, even under the most stressful of circumstances. When he's teaching, he makes sure that he is very clear about the importance of getting right, so sometimes he comes across as a little bit harsh. Of course, things tend to take a turn when he's with his wife. She makes him so happy and he actually gets really giddy when she is around, giggling and laughing and making jokes so she'll smile. He's still himself, but a more...bubbly version. He isn't one to feel rage, but he does get angry. To him though, anger isn't going berserk and loosing control. He's the kind of guy that will give you a calm and cold glare that will send chills up your spine. He doesn't really loose his temper, and the only time that he would even loose it would be if one of his students was killed or someone landed a hand on Asame.
