Manticore Griffin Ponies can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Some take on more pony traits while others lean toward more griffin traits. All Manticore types come with a scorpion tail with it's own type of venom, although not all manticore griffins are born venomous. Some permanently consistent traits you'll find are: Beaks, No hooves (unless cloven), bat wings, and scorpion tail.

UNIQUE ELEMENTAL TRAITS: Manticore Griffins of this type are very often born venomous, more so than other types. The downside is that as they age their venom does eventually run out faster than other types. Most elemental types will run out of venom at the midpoint of their lives. Elemental manticore griffins are born packed to the brim with venom as a defense mechanism to opponents which increase their likelihood of surviving into adulthood, and because of this they don't have much control of supplementing it.

I have yet to find any other species like this so I'm officially claiming it as my first and only closed species owned by myself.
