how do you get the color under the pencil lines?

You will need photoshop or a program that allows you to layer images.

Copy the picture, then hit paste. I separate layer will be placed with the same exact image.

Delete the first layer on the bottom but open up a brand new third layer and place it under the copied layer with the image.Β 
Set the image layer to "multiply".

I took a photo with my phone and just colored it digitally. Β 
lol ghetto scanned.Β
