oh boy. the neophytes rise again. listen, you know nothing. simple as that. its never respectable to rip off someone's elses hardwork. just like you were seconding ripping off scenes and rotoscoping, you second stealing styles. Just because I can I look at someone elses works and replicate them, doesnt make me a good animator. it makes me good at copying. I dont care if you condone stealing, but I sure dont. I give credit where credit is due. I dont need to give credit to a short 2d animation of just basic fighting where its too similar to another persons style of animation. god, grow up. the world isnt liberal. the world is harsh, and in this world, being a faux copy of someone elses work isnt okay.

lol i just inspired by many peoples like Guz, Syrius, Exortine, Terkoiz..
im trying to combine/improve it with my old style

Exortine is a rip off of Syrius. Guz and Syrius are pretty similar in terms of animation. Just small aesthetics are where theyre different. There really isn't much terkoiz here. Listen, the problem isn't inspiration. Inspiration is good. But don't let inspiration blind you. Find your own style. You're a good animator, but you can't rely heavily on other people's paths. Inspiration is never a problem. Just like with angles and scenes, it's practically impossible to make up an angle or a perspective point, but it's how you use them that defines you. Avoid being someone else's definition and become your own.Β
Anyway, mixing styles is okay, just have a balance. Like this is pretty much just syrius to me. I don't mean to be an arrogant prick or say I'm not subject to copying at all, but look at the stuff I do. I borrow tiny things from all styles. Its not really like any one style which is good. Borrow your construction from one style and borrow a ddifferent thing from another. What is truly your style is when you find the perfect balance of these. so ya. keep it up m80. gr8 job.

LOL no inspired doesnt mean you replicate what they made. it means you strive for quality similar to that. inspired has nothing to do with what you really see. i get inspired by looking outside and thinking how i could make better backgrounds in flash. inspired doesnt mean replicate. replicating can be done for fun but it shouldnt be a main animation style. also, inspiration is always good, but instead of just copying what they do, apply it in a different way to make it something original. you can still use ideas and even scenes, just be unique about it.

Stop acting like a moron. I told you clearly, I'm not saying don't be inspired. No where in the inspired definition does it say to want to replicate someone else's work and claim it as your own. Inspired means influenced, which exactly is what I said. I get influenced by Terkoiz's use of foot placement, but I don't rip off scenes and movements and say LOOK HOW GOOD I AM WITH FOOT PLACEMENT. No, I just practically rotoscoped him and claimed its my own. Even if I didnt rotoscope him, thats not MY use of foot placement, thats HIS.
