A few days ago my friend Linnea expressed her frustration with the lack of Uterine Cancer Awareness things. She understands it's breast cancer awareness month, but it's the biggest recognized one in the public eye. So I wanted to do something special and it isn't much. I have no money and no cure, but I have talented hands and artistic ability. Her mom is dying and it kills me because she is right there isn't enough awareness for it so I made this picture. It took me several hours because Celtic knots are most definitely not in my wheel house. For those who don't know the ribbon color for Uterine Cancer is Peach.(If you share it please tell them where you got it. My names on it, but I worked really hard on this piece so please be considerate and link me if you share it on a website or use it for anything please. It is also on my facebook profile.)

This is beautiful! I have endometrial hyperplasia which is pre cancer of the uterus, and they may find cancer after my surgery. I'm also a "sometime" artist. Your piece is lovely and should be shared. More awareness needs to be shared about uterine cancer. Would love to have this on a sweatshirt!! Would love to share it in my uterine cancer FB group. Never ever give up okay! Even when it feels like you want. to. Never lose your fight. I love you. Even if I don't know you. I will fight with you and beside you from where I am. I did this because it was I can do. I am the grand daughter of a woman who survived 5 cancers. I know the hell and the fight it takes. Thank you for telling me how much this means because it's people like you that keep me going and doing what I can for others.

Thank you! I just wanted to do something tovlet my friend know that I care and that I'm aware. I've known them for over 8 years now so it's hard to watch her die and see my friend so upset. I am glad you enjoy the piece. It was very therapeutic.
