i really need to block out the whole picture before beginning.  although that takes some fun out of the process.

mouth's out of scale, i shouldn't try drawing tongues until i've practiced more of them.  
 and if i use vGUE MENTALLY IMAGES I GET VAGUE PICTURES.  

find better or use real references.

also, find better red pencils...  made it harder to shade having only red, pink, and purple.
