so a-million-times-better than any other way of making elven ears I've ever seen! I mean in LARPG you have all of the uncomfortable and mostly ugly latex stuff, but this is really beautiful and, I believe, comfortable enough?

These are AMAZING!! Have you thought of making some that would go over latex elf ears? That would look really neat, too.
I see that this was posted back in 2005. So are you selling these yet and if so, what metals and for how much?
I enjoy dressing as an Elf when I go to Ren. Faires and so would LOVE to own a pair of these!

Sadly I haven't gotten around to making them, really do in part to time and money. These were made in silver. I'm sure I'll be taking another go at it in the near future.
I've never made them for elf ears but have done metal work for my old pair I used to put on at the fairs.
I need to find a caster around here or learn to do it my self. Making a pair to fit anyones ears is no easy thing. Their more of a custom fit sort of thing.

That is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Way creative way to get the elven ear tip going without the latex or foam ear applications. Awesome.

This is an absolutely stunning idea, I've always loved things like this, I've got myself a cute little dragon that hangs out wrapped about my ear that I get tons of comments on, but I really just love this idea, elf ears, gorgeous!

These ears are made of silver, but since it's a cast, any metal can be used

Well I'd probably start off with a cheaper metal and bring down the price a bit. I can only see true elf fans purchasing something so pricey without having heard of it before. Then I would move up to nicer stuff (like the silver) once you get a name for yourself.
I would also go cheaper if you only plan to sell it on DA...most of us on here seem pretty poor~

Those are mind bogglingly cool! I think if the tips were pointed up a little more, they might look a little better, but maybe not. I SSSOOOooooo want a pair!! Those would be a great hit to sell at any RenFair!!

Well I'm not saying no. The only thing is that they have to be built for your ears. I have tried to make a prototype that was for any one's ears, but the cast came out bad, they messed it up when putting on legs for the pour. I still got the prototypes in silver, never thought to sell them but I guess I'll put up a picture in scraps some time this week, you can look at them then.
