I haven't taken or uploaded pictures in about a year so I thought it was about time. I just took this yesterday at the lake. Please critique! If you have any suggestions for the colors it would be really great.

You should really try this again with hdr the sky would look perfect...but remember you need to shoot in raw

Ah I don't know if it would work because what if the water moves? Would it move between the 3 different pictures? Maybe I'll still try to do it and try taking it in RAW. I need to figure out how to do that still.

Hmm well you could do it with 3 shots? and it actually might look cool with the water moving, of you could just take one (if you take the 3 you'll get that one anyway) and make the 2 others from that
Ahh I guess that setting is just in the menu where you choose what type of picture you want (JPG, RAW / High / low quality)

Now this is the kind of photography I've missed. Perfectly composed, as always, and I like the colours just the way they are. It's clearly a beautiful place, you captured it excellently.

I like this one a lot ... beautiful, calm and peaceful. I would just suggest maybe to just saturate the photo a little to have the colors pop a little more. Just a suggestion though.

I guess, since you asked, if it was my photo, I would burn the montains a bit, and maybe add some color tint to the clouds...?

The sky, I think, isn't as brilliant as it could be, and that might detract from the image a little bit...

It's called Rattle Snake Lake and it's in Washington state.
