Description Funky colored flowers!! This one is a little extreme but it looks pretty awesome. Hopefully this looks better since it has a larger DOF than the other flower photographs.

PLEASE CRITIQUE THANKS!!

I absolutely adore this! The darkness surrounding such a colorful composition especially sets off the beauty of the flower. Congrats on such an amazing work of art!

Beautiful use of angle! It is much more striking from the side than it ever would be dead on. The colors are beautiful as well.

Woah.. How did you know my name?
Well I use PSP 9 and it's really easy but I don't know how you would do it on Photoshop. But you take the picture and convert it into B&W then you take the picture and create a new layer over it and then for the new layer you want it to be on Overlay so it only changes the colors of the flower and not the background so when it is on overlay and your on your new layer you just pick a gradient and then you get this? Confusing but it is really easy.

Thanks. I have Paintshop pro as well but its version 7. I can follow what you are saying though. Was your gradient fill & your layer's opacity at 100%?
I knew your name because I follwed your gallery link on bp to here.
You commented on my picture & I checked out your gallery & your bio & I wound up here.
I'm a member on deviant too.
You can check my gallery there.
Thanks for everything!

Wow... you're right in how you described it. 'Funky' and 'extreme' just about sum up the whole thing lol. But it's good; very different. And different is almost always a winner.

I am a huge fan of this, it really sticks out at you. Great colours, great composition and although still a lack of focus, this pretty much makes up for it.

However there is a huge downfall with this in that it is in your face too much and it just made me turn away instantly. Its a double iropny really because it is indeed too bright and too vibrant and made me turn away.
