Description
Progression of Kitana from Mortal Kombat over five games: MK2, MK3, MK
A, MKvsDC, and MK9. Will be adding Shaolin Monks as well. Work in Progress!

Its between Kitana's Deadly Alliance primary and MK2011 primary for me. They're both excellent designs with her looking like a fighter, but at the same time regal and well, Princess-like. Her MK vs DC I felt had a bit too much black, but it wasn't by any means BAD.

it's a toss up between mkda and mk9 for me, guess that's why i colored them first

I just don't like the animation work they've done to her hair in the game
MK9's is the most princess looking to me which is closer to the story, and i really like it

Yes the animation for the hair is pretty bad, it would have been cool to see the mk characters with the same graphical detail and animation as the characters in say soul calibur. i guess that was outside of netherealm's capabilities though. and yeah it definitely is the most royal looking costume, i rather like it

I love these. I cant wait to see all of them finished, but you take your time. All your art is really cool. I have no artistic ability, but enjoy checking your MK art out. You should do evolution of their alternate costumes as well.

Thanks! Yes I actually just now finished the design and I'm deciding how to do the texture. It's slow going since I've got so much other stuff to do right now but I'll get it done eventually!

hey very nice drawing.. I wonder besides the SM costume are you going to make the one in MkGold and the alternative costume of her in DA the one which doesn't cover her face (i remember it's purple)..

well MK Gold is easy because you just have to remove the mask, so maybe I'll do her face and put it right next to the MK3 one, and I'm kind of just doing one costume per game right now and I chose the 2P one for DA. I might do it later on though who knows?
