Funny thing is, it is believed that the kirin/qillin was based off of the giraffe. Funny how such a fantastical beast came from such an unexpected source.

Boy, looking through that list is weird and entertaining. Though it's a little sad that on an art site with so many talented emoticon makers we have such crap ones to choose from for standard emotions... and so many weird -if well made- meaningless ones...
