elaborate body horror is my brand. and so is beleth. naturally i go ham on any drawing that includes both. also i never expected this to happen but apparently my friends have the potential to be even more gory and horrifically-minded than me, bc the concept for this whole...thing...is the result of a late-night discord convo w a friend. but hey i like it, it's a gory mess.
"who's that other bitch" you might ask. well the dark-haired one is Leander's dead mom. her dying is the whole reason the plot exists so i really don't think it's much of a spoiler to reveal the fact that she's kind of Gone. Beleth doesn't resemble her exactly, but there's some mannerisms and features that Leander can't help but notice are weirdly similar and that gives him weird complicated feelings about this murder demon he just summoned. he hasn't really been raised to view demons as creatures with a capability for empathy or even uh. any sense of morality or emotion.
