This is a tutorial of how I make gradients blending colors, and since asked for some tutorial like this and later more people asked for a tutorial, I've made this, hope this gets useful to you and every suggestion is very welcome, since this is my first tutorial hereEdit:

I never shade with white oO I'd use a really light green for the light parts.. Or light yellow for the hair ^^ But it still looks great, I'll give it a try And I've never tried circular strokes.. But I remember my grandfather told me to when I was a child x'D So he was probably right

If you have the lighter green color you can use it and it will give you better results, but as many people may not have a set of a lot of tones, I thought it was better to use less tones and explain how to use them the better I know I used to have sets of a maximum of 24 colors, and there are a lot of tones you don't have there, so I had to learn ways to mix them and have the better results with them.

amazed me now. i didn't know anything about coloring, and now i can't wait to use color pen and try it out on my next drawing
