My first love!!
I was an aircraft mechanic for 9 years on the Canadian version CP-140 Aurora but never got to take a single picture...
I like this image very much. Clean and sharp!

The only problem with this image is the blown-out sky (a solid cloud deck was down to about 2500 AGL) with lower scattered clouds moving through.

I did notice the blown out sky and I am the first one hate it in my pictues... But here, I thing it is not taking away from your pic. I think it is because of the light gray color of the P3 and the smooth transition between it and the sky.

I have seen a P-3 before but not like this, it's awesome. It's great to see the bomb bay and sonobouy launchers.

Back in the 90's not only did the base's P-3's sfly this very same type of demo but on a couple of occasions they had a transient Nimrod from the British Royal Navy fly a flight demo as well...really cool stuff back then.

I really wish that they would have done a proper P-3 demo here at Whidbey this year considering the P-3 is the main aircraft operating out of there

From what I recall from past NAS Jax Air Shows this is the same type of demo the P-3's have been flying there every year they have had a show at the base. It was fun when the S-3's used to fly too!
