wow did you actually hollow it that thin?! im mind boggled as to how you did the inside of him and the cracks so well

I only made the edges of the crack especially thin in order to make it look more like a real egg. But I did hollow it as much as I could everywhere else. And as for making the cracks look realistic, you'd be surprised how helpful an actual egg helps as reference.
