Description
Drew this at school through the course of like, eight days. xDThose ancient dinosaur computers are great, actually, because they have the old MSPaint.
Time taken, in all: An hour and a half.
Squirrelflight looks teh sadz.
The colors look really dark and dull on this computer, but it looked fine on the desktop...

Very nice job on the eyes! And I love the way you make the white ends of her paw and tail.
I really like your design for Squirrelflight, I usually make her a really dark ginger tabby, but yours looks extremely nice.

Yeah, I thought the specks would look better than just a plain straight line separating the white from the orange. ^^

Ah, yeah, I posted that on my netbook, where the colors are kind of horrible. x3 It looks fine on this computer, but I think it looks brighter on the desktop, still.
I-I'm not even sure D: I guess sad expressions are fun to draw?

lol I know what you mean. I'm having that problem now actually. A piece I just finished looks good on photoshop, but dull when I save it as jpg or anything else. I then edited the color balance and it looks a little better now. Looks really good on my ipad though >_> weird things lol
And I've got an idea, try drawing a really REALLY happy cat in your next deviation! >D

And yeah, I miss the old MS Paint... xD I like the non-pixelation of the new on to a small extent, but I'd love to be able to change junk pixel by pixel when I need to. >->

Yup~ Not sure if you've read Warriors, but at the end of the third series, she gets pretty upset. c': I was thinking of what expression to give her, and then I thought of those events that happened, and this is the result.
xD I really, really miss the old MS Paint because of its simplicity. ;^; The line tool in the new one really fails, because you can't make a new line without clicking away first, and the lines just don't look right. But yeah, I like how the line smooths out instantly if you draw it quickly, so I guess that's a plus.

Read it up to the 5th book of the second series. Kinda stopped after that, despite being pretty fond of it. >-< So, gave it up, but to an extent I'm pretty familiar with it. x-x
Detailed? O-o Lol, not by my standard, it wasn't. x3 Detailed would be saying the furred details were balanced pretty well, not looking overly-fluffy or flat; the shoulders and back have a nice, natural curve to their flow; the legs and general anatomy was pretty well done; the fading/varied thickness of where lines 'disappear' into the fur improves the look of certain smaller details... Also the spiked headfur, face, and ears, while probably not being precisely accurate could still be attributed to style, and over all it has a certain nice look to it all~
'That' would be detailed, lol. xD

Ah. D: The second series was definitely my least favorite... It took a lot of patience for me to actually get through it. >w<
xDD It was detailed by my standards! Most of the time, if it's more than one sentence and mentions something about the drawing, I think of it as detailed.

But yeah, that's usually the more detailed side of the spectrum for me. xP I can pick up on little things, and actively try to I guess~ Anyways~
