I did some lighting effects on Christopher Eccleston, and now he matches the other pics a bit better than before.

I never really thought of that. I know they were going to have to figure out soon how will The Doctor get more than 13 regenerations. I don't like how they just addedΒ another doctor casually between the 8th and 9th. That would really make sense though to say he got 13 more regenerations with that customized formula. That may be why they went to all that trouble to prepare it.

He could have gotten more regenerations from River as well.Β Remember, when 11 was dying she gave up all she had left to save him, and we don't know how many she had gone through.Β We only know of three forms for sure, so she could have had 10 left to give him.

The Master was offered a new set of regenerations in the episode this piece shares its name with.Β And River gave her regenerations to 11 in order to save his life, so there's that.Β How often it's done is unknown, but it is possible for a Time Lord to transfer regenerations to another Time Lord.

Well, we really don't know exactly how many times she's regenerated.
She regenerated in the alley in 1969
Mels said the last time she did this 'regenerated' she came out a toddler, which was around 1992 if she's aging at the same rate as Amy and Rory and went to school with them
then Mels into River in 'Let's Kill Hitler'
so she's regenerated at least 3 times.

Would be nice, but everything I've heard is that Eccleston doesn't want anything to do with Doctor Who anymore, as he was treated poorly when he was still playing The Doctor.Β I don't know how much truth there is to that, though.Β I've never really looked into it, I only know what I've seen others say.

Oh I know. And I don't think it was that he was treated poorly, Eccelston said he doesn't want ahve anything to do with the fans and the cons and what not. He's one of those "do a role once" kind of actors. Fucking shame, he was a great 9.

Unfortunately some actors are just like that. It's still a craft to them, and they'll sign the occasional autograph, but would rather do a role and then move on. Can't blame him. He's a fantastic actor, and is doing just fine in his career so god bless him.
