Description
If you say these eyes are skins... I assure you, they are not.EDIT: I am officially revealing the secret. Pupil texture is animated (from opened to closed aperture), then added "$irisframe" parameter in the eye's .vmt. Then I made $irisframe animatable in SFM.
P.S. Also, it's the first time I use SWF. And I think that "Flash -> Animations" deviantART category is the only one which allows me to post SWF into.

How do you make the eyes animate like that?

Is there a way to scale the pupils like the way you did, cause the video didn't help.

That's because I've made custom animated eye textures for that. And I think I should release them...

That'd be cool, but it's your choice, also how do you upload gifs/animations on deviantart cause I haven't figured it out.

That's an interesting strategy... how exactly do you make a .vmt property animatable though? I can follow the rest of what you did, but I'm not sure about that.Β

If they aren't skins, how exactly did you do the eyes shrinking and stuff? I'm quite curious

Not too much. Vectored in Inkscape, but aperture parts did in After Effects.
