This is one of the best toys of my youth.

It's the 1998 "Godzilla" Super Action Puppet.

Yes, my friends. This massive guy is a hand puppet. And, even more amazingly, my 30 year old hand still fits in him. So, I can still make him come alive. "chuckles"

Anyway, it's made of not too soft rubber, that isn't too hard, either. So, it's really not uncomfortable to operate this guy. And, he has an incredible feature. If you let him stay in the light for long enough, his teeth and dorsal fins will glow in the dark. I think that is really cool. And, if I'm not mistaking, there were actually two versions of this puppet available. One that had a sound box built into it, so it roared with Godzilla's characteristic roar, and one version without the sound box. My puppet here, is apparently the one without the sound box. And I don't mind. Because I love this guy, anyway.

Unlike the other toys from the 1998 "Godzilla" movie, this hand puppet was not made by Trendmasters. Instead, it was made by Toy Biz, a toy company mostly known for there Marvel action figures.
