Description
This is a team of martial arts Power Rangers that I created, many years ago, called "Power Rangers Light Fighters".

The premise for this story, is about four students trained in martial arts by another original group of Rangers of a martial arts fighting club until a newcomer, the soon-to-be Red Ranger, discovers that the club is more than just self-defense classes. He finds an ancient tapestry depicting five warriors defeating an evil. The sensei finds out about the new guy and tells him, and the other four students, the truth. Unbeknownst to anyone, a great evil, called the Demon Shiromask, begins to arise from underground, building a new army. Soon, an attack in the nearby city is announced and the five students are soon departed into a secret base where the Sensei instructs them of the evil Demon Shiromask and their Army of Plutes. The Sensei then tell them, that only the power of the ancient heroes of light and martial arts can stop them, and after telling the five youngsters this, he gives them their Light Art Morphers. Using the "light" in their hearts and the Morphers, the teens call out "Power of Light, Shine Within!". They motion their hands in meditative forms, soar into the sky and morph into the Power Rangers: Light Fighters.

I based this team on the Super Sentai team "Hikari Sentai Maskman", and I intended for them to be a Military-themed team. But now, I think it would be much better to stick to the original Maskman theme of martial arts.  The really big difference between Maskman, and my team here, is that, my team has a permanent Sixth Ranger, instead of having him only present in One story.
