Bio: So back in the day when Homeworld was generating gems, they happened to wonder about the things that make up the gems, Elements. After incubating a few, it was found that Bismuth among other elements could form physical forms and act as gems, however Bismuth was the strongest. This led to a hunt for elements, leading incubators to hunt throughout galaxies to find a "special" one. One incubator happened upon a galaxy (Andromeda) to find Promethium, an element never used in Homeworld production. Excited about this new discovery, 3 Promethiums were incubated. After evaluation, it was found this element could power things for 5 years which, though not long for Homeworld, was kept under consideration. Eventually, the "element" phase on Homeworld died out, leading otherwise useless elements to be broken down to use once more for gem production. Promethium was going to be thrown away to cheaply power Homeworld, but this one particular Promethium found a use of her talent. Using her power to test inventions, she quickly picked up tech and worked viciously to prove her worth. After proving her knowledge to be similar to a Peridot's, she was kept begrudgingly and given limb enhancers to make her "of value". She continued to excel, using her ability to glow profoundly to help her work, her inventions she made to help, and of course powering objects with herself to understand they're inner-workings. After working her way up the ranks, she proved to be worthwhile. This wasn't enough to make Homeworld like her, though. Too unpredictable, too exotic, they'd say. She was kept in a low rank with other Peridot's despite her clear knowledge above their's. Teased and looked down upon, she became quite the loner, and gained a reputation for her explosive temper. Didn't help that she was radioactive, either, though in truth this didn't affect anyone significantly (but some claim to have felt... off color around her. I wonder... ).
After tinkering around more and more, she decided she didn't want to be stuck as a simple technician, and left to another Empire, one more accepting, the court of Lavender Diamond. Though she expected some disregard of her, she found Lavender Diamond to be respectful and kind, shattering her previous prejudice against Diamond's. She was then sent to a planet in need of technicians, Rhodocrosite's Planet.

Abilities: She can glow in the dark, and can conjure a magnifying glass for fer eyes. Also, small tidbit bout Promethium, it's radioactive and could be used in the future to make a battery that could last 5 years (no joke, like in reality). Thusly, she used this power to help power machines she's working with to "see" their insides.
Why they came to the Colony: She wanted respect and equality, and her she could find it in LDC.

Synchronized Dance Style: Swirling around her limb enhancers, she's as graceful as a duck, dancing is a no.
Trivia: The way she uses her battery like abilities to help her with electronics is by a process she doesn't even fully understand, a way of running her energy through the machine to understand it's structure or find what's wrong with it.
-Whenever she uses her battery abilities, she glows.
-She creeps out some people with her limb enhancers, since they're "modified". She modified them to extend into smaller, almost needle like ends, allowing her to do more precise and small-scale work. They can move from regular fingers to the needle like ones, as shown in her hands and in the 'Misc' gif.
-She likes machines over gems, and gets a little attached to them.
Headcanons: I would imagine she and Rhodocrosite would be in a special kind of relationship, as in Rhodocrosite being Promethium's first friend/person who treated her with respect. Also, peerrhhhapppsss Rhodocrosite was the first gem Promethium had a crush on felt differently about.

Ah yes I just HAD to enter 's contest! Though I had ALOT of trouble incorporating the lavender diamond color into her palette, alas twas the best I could do. Really excited for this contest though, BTW I'm entering for Lead Technician.
AH I'm falling in love with this court and I have no regrets, enjoy my over explained and overly complicated gem!
