For those who follow my YouTube channel, you would know that I am a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan. As such, I have seen some Sonic fan art in my day, but this one is definitely on of the best I've seen. I have looked at a lot of different Sonic and Amy pictures before, but this has to be my favorite. The use of the shadows blending with light is an effective touch, the eyes on the characters stand out in the moonlight, and the scenery is just beautiful. Having Sonic carry Amy around in the city isn't anything new, but I do believe this is best material for SonAmy fan art. The coloring is fantastic, the characters blend well with the environment, and the overall look without a doubt is breathtaking.

c'mon man, half star is literally the lowest you can give. The most unoriginal SonAmy picture is just them kissing, which is already unoriginal cause that's often done just for the steam factor rather than an actual love for the ship. Up it to like 1 1/2, maybe 2 just cause it could be so much more typical.

Honestly, I've seen Sonic carry Amy in dozens of other pictures, so I would be lying if I raised the rating higher, making the critique useless. Nonetheless, I still loved your artwork and believe to be one of the best Sonic fan art out there. Hope you continue with your art and hope to see more from you. Sorry if I upset you with my critique, but I hope the idea that I favorited your art satisfy you.

I totally understand where you're coming from. But still, one half star? That is something I think should be reserved only for the lowest of the low, the most generic of the generic. the kindof thing you have seen 143546678767564546576878 times, both sincerely and parodied. Giving something an absurdly high or low rating makes the few things that actually deserve them seem less outstanding.

As annoying as I find Amy, this picture is just beautiful. There's such a fun loving vibe and a joyful atmosphere about it.
The landscape, light reflecting off the ocean, bridge and even Amy reaching out for the shooting star is delightful.
People can draw an expression to convey a certain emotion a thousand times but rarely in my opinion do they rarely capture the sentiment.
Colouring, nighttime atmosphere, and Sonic carrying Amy all couples to make this a fabulous piece ^^

My favorite part of this picture is the background. I would even say it would make an enjoyable picture all on its own.
But in this case, it's perfect to establish the kind of setting Sonic would enjoy running through...and inviting Amy along for the experience as well.
