And today was it ... this Sunday. We got two Sabbaths in a row since it was a "holiday" you could say.

Heheh, yeah... But I only enjoy one. Two just seems like I could've been doing something productive on the second day. And this Thursday we get another Sabbath since it's the feast of Trumpets I think.
Our Sabbaths start at sundown and end the next sundown. So this Thursday night, until Saturday night we get Sabbaths.

Interesting... It's not just a day of rest, it's a day of thought. Thinking and eating are some of the best things to do when you have nothing else to do, and I'm whole-heartedly behind the second one.

A day of rest, self reflection, affliction upon your soul so you remember that you have things you need to fix, this can be done by fasting. The reminder of hunger lets you remember that you're supposed to be following God's commands.
