Well, I decided it was time to take a break from drawing guys (even though I really like to
) and try drawing a woman instead. So, silly me, I decided to draw Midna since she has a very good figure for practicing. Little did I realize at the time just what I was getting myself into... o_O Her headdress stuff almost made me strangle myself XD And the patterns on her cloak, loincloth thing and arms weren't easy either. But here she is, in all her splendor and awesomeness. And I do have to say, I am incredibly proud of this drawing BTW, I am probably NEVER drawing true form Midna again, lol. If I do, it'll be digital, NOT traditional. DX

Well, yeah, but if you do a side-by-side comparison, there are a lot of little details like stitching on the hat and designs on the back pocket things on his belt that are gone from the SS model, so it's still less detailed. Zelda Universe has had a stylistic comparison column for Skyward Sword to previous games, and it pointed things like that out.

This is really, really good, especially for a first time! My only critique is that her legs look quite a bit too short; but practice makes perfect!

If you find yourself doing that, try to draw legs twice as long as you normally would. 8D

I had problems with legs when I started really drawing, too. (And if you don't wanna draw them twice as long as you normally would, look at photos for reference! They really help

Lol, what do you mean "for a first time". I think she's good anyway XD I know I fudged a bit on the cloak patterns, but I didn't have a good ref when I was doing it, so I didn't have a choice. And her neck's a bit short, I realize. But it's not super noticeable.
