"But Orange Zeppelin!" you may cry, "Christopher Lee played SARUMAN, not Gandalf!" Bruh, don't argue with me about LotR, I read the Silmarillion for crying out loud and came out with most of my sanity intact.

While Chris did ultimately play Saruman and it's the role I'll always most associate him with, he originally wanted to play Gandalf! He had J.R.R Tolkien's blessing to play the character, but for various reasons he was given the role of Saruman instead. I think he's the most perfect actor for the role, but just for fun this is my take on an alternate universe where Chris got to be Gandalf.
