Wow! THis almost looks like an illustration, although the way the sky is doens't quite fit with it. That part lets you know it's a photograph. i really like it.

das mit der orinalgröße sollte kein prob sein, wenn du mal wieder im "lande" bist...
klar wäre das sehr cool, nur der aufwand ist halt bombastisch... wenn du dir überlegst, das das bild alleine ne dateigrösse von 186mb hat kannst du dir ja vorstellen was dann 24frames für 1sek film brauchen

Nagut, ich kenn ja jetzt nicht die Originalauflösung, aber laut AfterEffects hat HDTV ne Auflösung von 1280x720. (bestimmt weniger als 186mb, oder?)
Das macht die Sache schonmal etwas gediegener.
Wir müssens ja auch nicht gleich übertreiben und können auch auf die guten, alten 720x576 zurückgreifen.

naja der print hat 4448x3100px, also wäre das sicher schon etwas zu viel...

Erst hat sich bei dem Gesang mein Magen umgedreht, aber dann dieser endgeile Zynismus...
Bei "My little friends..." hab ich mich vor lachen fast vom Stuhl gekugelt. Saugeiler Track! Gleich nochmal anhören.
Ich weiß nicht, wie ers immer schafft, aber Burton wird mehr und mehr ein großes Vorbild für mich. Er behält seinen Style, aber wiederholt sich nicht.
Genialer Typ! Und diese gemalten Hintergründe. Auf jeden Fall ganz groß!
Und wegen der Cartoonidee: 1920x1080 ist eigentlich auch kein Prob. Dann machen wir erstmal ne runterkomprimierte Version. Feilen dran rum, bis animation/licht/schatten passt. Und dann ersetzten wir die runterkomprimierten Dateien mit dem real deal.
Gibt immer ne Möglichkeit.
Schwieriger wirds ne Story zu finden...

its very lovely. its almost like a photo and a drawing feathered together. i love the clouds and hwo the trees stand out well. and the contrast on the ground with the lines.

I just love the trees. It's like you can see each and every one. Not to mention the clouds are wicked cool. I read in a book once where they described a person seeing everything with sharp, exacting and painful detail. This picture gives me a visual of how that person must have been seeing things. Really awesome!

this kind of postprod has its charm of course. i shouldn't pick on, since i am making clouds black as well sometimes. i think the main problem is sharpening after resizing. but this landscape is very detailed, so i understand it becomes like this then

hm... also ich finde es mit Textur überladen und wie du meinst... das haut gut rein wenn's kleiner gemacht wird. Kannste vielleicht mal durch ne größere Version austauschen? Die man auch runterladen kann?

danke für die kritik. bin aber leider kein fan dieser "for-free-giveaways". wie schon gesagt, das bild hat leider seine volle wirkung erst ab ~40x60cm oder ~2000x1500px (mal ganz davon abgesehen, das der candela wert des monitors eben stimmen muss...), dann kann man sich in den details wunderbar verlieren, aber dann könnt ich direkt auch das print file zum download stellen

kann ich nachvollziehen... hm. und wenn man ein fettes watermark reinsetzt? mir würde es nur darum gehen es richtig zu sehen... einfach wie es wirkt wenn die texturen sich nicht gegenseitig killen in dieser kleinen Auflösung

I love the contrast between the ominous landscape and the black and white cow chilling in the foreground, nice.
