Wow...good job!...it's good, that you colored the ground below the "gate" as well!

The concept is wonderful. "the secret gate"..Not much of a gate..it sort of looks like a window, looking out to beauty. See, I thought it would be like maybe a fence to it's side, and the gate door opened, yet not fully, and showing that dazzlingly color. ^.^ You are a master of color! It makes my eyes pop O_O Everything with color you make so clear and clean, unless you say other wise. I'm truly jealous of you and now this pieces along with your others.

I like what you did with this one.......seems to be looking back on better days. Or as the title implies, to be a gateway to a magic realm.....

I've always thought that you're a brilliant photographer and that you have an extremely well developed sense of beauty and colour. But I'm not writing this comment only too give you shameless praise.. I think the smoothness really define the dreamy and soft feel, the colours are amazing as always and I especially like the way the plant to the left has gotten coloured by the other sphere (I don't know any other way to put it.) the only thing I dislike a bit is the fact that the grass in front of the gate have so much colour. I would have liked it more if it would have been just small "drops" of colour instead of a path. But as always, it's just my humble opinion. Great work.

nice
a gate to summer!
I would like to find something like that in the fall, middle of winter or in the spring when summer seems not want to come.

Hi there : )
Really nice composition. I think that the idea is great. You probably putted lots of effort into this piece, ne? I don't know if this was hard to change colors on the vines and that part of grass and "gates" but it is an interesting experiment. I have never saw such photography before - I AM SO happy that I am watching you ^^"

Oh, a very clever job here. I love this conceptual idea, reminds me of a mix of the secret garden, and Wizard of oz for some reason. lol

Actually, I like that path of green leading up to the gate. I think the green is a needed offset to the orange, and the outside color draws you more slowly you into the intended focal point (which because the gateway centered directly in the frame, your eye would immediately go to it without enjoying the surroundings too.)
I hope that made sense. ^_^;
This is another winning dev here. I'm really enjoying your entire gallery. ^_-

nice colors! I like that they are a bit mottled and funny looking...gives a bit of a strange and almost vintage feel...... I take it as the "gate" in color is like a visual memory...very sweet.
