hehe yeah the colours were a little all over the place so i tied them together a little with a bit of a green tint right at the end. Kind of a fluke, it was looking pretty fucked for ages

Nah I've just been like working on em for ages. Started off as a standard street art character bite (specifically yok : [link] )
and then I put more into em and then incorporated some manga shit in there (I used to draw akira style anime shit) and yeah they just morphed over the years. There's no real quick way about it you just gotta really love drawing and have a lot of patience i guess *shrug*

Thanks a lot, the effect, i think, is coz i put a green colour boost over it at the end. It's like.... the less colours you use in an image the better (for me anyway). Using a lot of different shades within a thin band of colour can work really well too. I'm still working it all out now so I kinda don't know what I'm talking about

i reckon i shoulda worked a bit harder on the colouring of the question mark though, it's a bit flat and weird, could use some detail maybe

well you can see the marker lines in the colouring, i try to avoid that as much as i can excpet where it's obviouslly deliberate
and I dunno, it looks like I could have added a bit of pen work in there to make it pop out a bit, dunno.

its true that u can see the marker lines...but that doesnt bother me at all..looks kinda cool. and i actually like the way it doesnt pop out so much..it technically isnt the main focus of the skecth you know?...of course this is all based on opinion really
