I originally hand-drawn the first draft of this, and then scanned and used the program ArtRage Lite to finish it.

First off is the Grimm sword on the right that Azog gets from the Necromancer/Sauron in Ch 4. I had a fun time Grimm-ifying the sword and it challenged me to utilize different shades of white. The blade is slightly segmented much like Grimm armor, with the red markings around it (Salem's eye emblem prominent toward the top)

In the middle is the short-sword, Telpë Necel (Silver Thorn) Ruby finds in Ch 2. The most challenging thing for that was getting the lettering to look like it wraps around the blade, as it originally kept coming out uneven. To keep with the rose theme, the cross-guard is designed like a leaf, making the blade the 'thorn'. The Elvish writing at the bottom is: "Ana varya a víre, sina Telpë Necel nauva I atalntëllo mornië." In English: "To protect a rose, this Silver Thorn will be the downfall of darkness."

As always, Ruby is both fun an annoying to draw, the worst parts are Crescent Rose (no matter what form it's in) and her rose emblem (which is made up of so many tiny pieces!). I used her V4/5 look, and, while it became easier as I colored and got further along, it was hard to make it NOT look like Weiss' V4 look (around the neckline/collarbone) and Pyrrha's look (around the waist). Her boots are the same, but the rest is her elvish getup. The gold designs at the top are my attempt at trying Elvish embroidery, and while it looks good, it isn't *exactly* Elven in style. I also needed to use several shades of red, mainly for her cloak, shirt sleeves, and the cummerbund, though getting the shading added a bit of a challenge
