yeah it was officially stated as ackerman in the lastest chapter, previous to that no last name was given for it. I had no idea he had an official last name at the time I drew this comic.

nah 'rivaille' was a spelling/translation error mistake because that's what it sounds like in japanese. They officially corrected it later to 'levi' and he doesn't have a last name.
*this is a spoiler so don't go on reading if you're not caught up to the manga
it's not explained very well but in the most recent chapter levi's last name was revealed to be ackerman
