I looked at my gallery recently and I realized that I had a lot of uncolored pictures posted. So I decided to try and colorize a few of them and this was the first one I did.The chinese letters in the top left corner are supposed to stand for "King of the Hill". However I used Microsoft Word to translate it so who knows if that's what it really says.

Cool! These are very well drawn, and the styles of both shows actually transfer really well. King of the Hill and Avatar are two shows I watched and loved when they originally aired. They're both represented so cleverly here

i like this picture, yet wouldn't Hank be more suited as a fire bender because of his obseshion with propain. although i have to admit Boomhauer as a swamp bender is halaruous.

There is some sense to that, but based on his personality and the way the 4 elements were described, I think Earth is a much better fit for him. After all, Earth and earth-benders were noted to be direct, set in their ways/stubborn, and inclined to tackle problems head on, while Fire and Fire-benders were noted to be energetic, unpredictable, and their powers are based on emotion. I don't think the words energetic, spontaneous & emotional really describe Hank Hill (although they fit Dale to a T).
On the other hand, Hank is very direct, is very resistant to change, and prefers to deal with problems head on and upfront. He is also shown to be the opposite of his son, Bobby, who I think would be an air-bender because of his comedy/sense of humor, non-confrontational approach to problems, & unconventional approaches to things, and Earth is the opposite of Air. Plus he is also obsessed with his lawn, which is a very Earth-oriented activity.

Orangephoenix6 i would like to thank you for sharing that insite to your creative merging of Avatar and king of the hill. your indeep knowledge of the characters and the elements out weighted my stariotipical approche of related components. to that our favorit stubborn seller of propain and propain exsesories would be as strait forward as "move the rock". finally the idea of Bobby being an airbender would be interesting to see, peacifuly existing with animals and non violent solutions to problems.
P.S what kind of element would one give to Kan and his family

I think Khan would be Earth as well, more specifically Metal. He and Hank are contrasted regularly on the show (Khan's name is even an anagram of Hank) and it's been shown that they aren't complete opposites, but they do have different values and approaches to things. That's why I think the two of them being the same element but of different subsets works because it contrasts them pretty well (plus Air doesn't really suit Khan's personality).
Minh is the trickiest, since she has had very little screen time compared to everyone else, but I think she would be Water. It just seems to fit her for some reason.
Connie would be Air because she is shown to strongly desire freedom and Air is the element of freedom.
