Description
Anthem of the Angels by Breaking Benjamin.Doesn't really fit the song a whole lot, but I still like how it turned out.
Kind of an alternate ending to PMD1, where, instead of floating away in shiny glowyness, Pikapi just...dies. In Chika's "arms."
Don't worry, our furry little mouse friend isn't going to push the daisies anytime soon. C:

I actually had a couple of thoughts about Pikachu's sad demise. One was where he dies while using up all his power to protect Ash's daughter from my fanfic (don't worry, I don't think I would go ahead with that idea) another thought was Pikachu dying causing Ash to turn to the evil Team Rocket becoming it's eventual leader (I saw a deviant piece someone did with Ash becoming the evil leader.)

I've actually read a few comics that used that second idea. One of them was from a comic called "Ashchu's Dilemma" what happend was that in it Ash had a son who was kidnapped by Team Rocket and Ash saved him, but he and Pikachu lost there memories and were told that they were memebers of Team Rocket.
Here's the link to it.

Cool, I'll check it out. But I don't think I'll go beyond toying with the thought. If I would ever write more Pokemon fanfics, they're probably going to be more Lucas inspired like the one i'm in the process of putting up.

Always gotta love that part in the game. I always thought that the MD1 ending was kind of forgotten over the second, so I'm glad that to this day people still remember it. <3

To this day, my favorite of the two games would have to be the first one. Sure, the dungeons are harder and pokemon you recruited go away if they get taken out and there aren't as many pokemon and it's not as long, but I think that the story is so much more emotional. And I like the music more, too.
Not that I don't like MD2. But after playing the first one the ending of the second was somewhat predictable. ^^'

Well the one big difference I noticed between the two endings is that MD1's is a sweet kind of sadness while MD's is a dramatic kind. You can tell from the tone of the music and the fact that the player was actually going to die in the second.
But gameplay-wise, I do like MD1 a little more. I mean, I prefer the controls in the sequels and the fact that your teammates aren't taken off your roster after each mission(not to mention your partner). Still, I liked how challenging many of the dungeons were, even if I never was able to get past the first 20 levels of Wish Cave. Also, getting ready for missions was much faster since there weren't so many stores, and Friend Areas are awesome.

Yeah. But it would be very sad for the partner. :'C

It's probably my second favorite song right now. Too bad it doesn't really fit any of my characters very well. :l

It's hard to fit songs to moments and characters of stories. :/
Buuut, a few of my stories are only progressed by music. Like...it somehow writes the story itself in my mind as I listen to the song. ....hahah, but I bet to everyone else the songs wouldn't be close to fit the situations.

I know a lot of people make characters from songs. I don't, I just come up with characters and a story and then I'll happen to find songs that fit the story or characters. C:

I like the shading here, too.
