WAit, Yosuke's hair, or just hair in general.

Most the time I just end up eyeballing it and if I cut out something perfectly (ie, fringe) then I just cut out another layer like it. Spikes are done in layers that get consecutively smaller, and pony tails are either attached separately, or attached as a full layer of hair and "puckered". It really depends who you're making.

Well, I suggest looking at a reference picture and personally, I don't use patterns for stuff like this, I'm sorry.

I'm a strictly "eyeball it and see how it goes" kind of person for that, so I'm really no help. XD My apologies.

Just practice practice until you can make things you're really proud of!

Everyone starts somewhere, so don't worry :>

And symmetry is irrelevant if you have a pre-made pattern.

As for symmetrical eyes... Uhm...

Draw something on the computer then copy it and reflect it. Or something.

The type of fabric and screen print you use depends on if it sticks or not, as well. Most types of screen print does not stick to fleece (my favourite kind of fabric to use, as it has no frayable edges) and even if it does, the kind that isn't water proof will run/smear look really bad once it's put in the wash, like so

Embroidered eyes are herder, I guess. I've only tried once, but you'd have to get good at that, or own a embroidery machine, I guess.

i ran into someone with one. I thouht it wold be cool to find a way to work with her and also use the machine to make eyes and sell them, like one sells patches?

I guess that could work, but the main problem would be attaching them.

Patch like things tend to fall off unless glued or sewn on REALLY WELL
