Sketches done at the SF Zoo on July 11, 2012. Bought a year membership to visit the zoo (hopefully every week) to practice drawing animals. Spent about 2.5 hours on lemurs and 2 hours on bears. Most of the time was spent observing the animals and how they move. Then when I sketched, I tried breaking them down into shapes and forms to understand them 3-dimensionally. Also tried to find a sense of flow and rhythm in their forms.I drew these with Tombow greyscale markers, Prismacolor Col-Erase, Fountain Pen with ink wash, green Hi-Tech C pen, and a Prismacolor Ebony Jet Back pencil. Try out ALL the mediums :D

But, i'm really relieved, I thought you did not want or Tuler work with art.

No, i know, i thought you had a portfolio online in same website, but if you'll post here, i'll wait, but Tavi, if you agree, of course, could you answer questions about how is working with art in other country, because in Brazil the artists are very devalued, are many questions so i wanted to talk with you particularly. thanks

I've done sketching at the SF zoo also. It's really fun drawing all the animals! These look really nice. I really like seeing all the construction you put into the animals' bodies.
