Description
My knees smashed into the lino and my stomach heaved. The seat cracked loudly against the cistern.I was here last night too.
My insides clenched. The smell of bleach and steam gathered around me.
I’d left him upstairs, sleeping. Snoring. Talking of work and knifes. I’d join him again soon. I sat back on my haunches and waited.
The sound of the dogs’ soft blind head bumping the door sounded so loud. Not as loud as the ticking. 17. 18. 19. 20. The light was off. It had blown when I stumbled in here maybe some 35 minutes ago. 21. 22. 23. 24. I choked a sob, thick liquid coating my lashes and blurring my sight. I took my glasses off. 25. 26. 27. 28. My breathing twitched. My thighs were still hot and damp. My bile rose and I mourned in the dark.
I wondered if he would ever tell me that I was as beautiful as the world and take me there. I pulled paper to my mouth and considered leaving tonight, like I told myself I should. I’m an adult now after all.
I sat, leaning against the cold outer wall, listening to the dog find her way into the wall again. Wishing for cookies, apple juice and sunshine.

It's very real. Very real. I'm not sure what else to say about it... the word "plain" comes to mind, but then there are still pieces of beauty and longing and love that sparkle abit and I have to do a double take... Very nice.

so many lines here that i love. you're so right about that last line rocking. i'm in love with "as beautiful as the world and take me there." overall, i really think this is great. it's so frantic and innocent. i love it. +fav

I've already told you I think it's great. to prove my belief I will fave it. I've not read undulates stuff so I'm not qualified to say if yours is better or worse but if she's as good as this I'm impressed already

Last line does rock, i was going to change it to reference various people. a 'life-in-one-sentence' deal, but i know that how i felt being so calm today is the sum up off everything i feel.
