Description
Eden has fallen and I blame you.Not snakes, not venom, not greed,
You.
Eden has gone and hell is in me,
Not foreverness, not love, not light,
You.
Eden has been replaced by a bitter taste,
Not apples, not honey, not cream,
You.
Eden has becomeβ¦
Just you.

Touching on one of my favourite themes in poetry - Eden and the fall of mankind.
I love the way you've brought everything back to 'You.' It really emphasises the way that all mankind's failings have been because of a weakness on a part of man, not because of the temptation of the world. Great stuff

Can't say I understand fully but I sure as hell know when someone has done something to affect every single thought and action that I have or have done that I blame them. Is this poem about blame? That's what it means to me. Lovely stuff.
